How to download your positions CSV

Most brokerages let you download your positions as a CSV file. Here are instructions for popular platforms:

Fidelity
  1. Log in and go to Accounts & TradePortfolio.
  2. Select the account(s) you want to analyze, or choose All Accounts.
  3. Click the download icon (arrow pointing down) near the top-right of the positions table.
  4. Select Download to save the CSV file.
Charles Schwab
  1. Log in and go to AccountsPositions.
  2. Click the Export link near the top of the positions table.
  3. Choose CSV format and download.
Vanguard
  1. Log in and go to My AccountsHoldings.
  2. Click Download (or the spreadsheet icon) to export as CSV.
E*Trade
  1. Log in and go to AccountsPortfolio.
  2. Click the Download button to save your positions as CSV.
Other Brokerages

Look for a Download, Export, or spreadsheet icon on your portfolio/positions page. Export as CSV. The file should contain at minimum a Symbol column and either Market Value or Shares + Price columns.

Privacy note: Many brokerage CSVs include account numbers and other sensitive data. Our tool automatically strips all sensitive fields in your browser before anything is sent to the server. Only ticker symbols, share counts, and dollar values are transmitted for analysis.
